Advocacy Meeting of SCGO-JSOC project on Women’s Health and Cervical Cancer On 10th February 2021 at Phnom Penh Municipality Department of Education, Youth and Sports

Cambodian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SCGO) and Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (JSOG), organized an advocacy meeting on promoting Women’s Health and Cervical Cancer On 10th February 2021 at Phnom Penh Municipality Department of Education, Youth and Sports under JICA Partnership Program. This advocacy meeting, SCGO cooperated closely with Phnom Penh Municipality Department of Education, Youth and Sports in order to promote awareness of the cervical cancer to public educators. Approximately 200 participants from 163 public education institutes in Phnom Penh and stakeholders attended the meeting. The participants learnt about the necessity of cervical cancer screening, the prevention method and the symptoms of cervical cancer. As this cancer could be prevented and cured, women in Cambodia are encouraged to take cervical cancer screening.
